Direct Response Copy and Direct Response Marketing in the form of a traditional or digital sales letter is designed to generate an immediate response from consumers, where each consumer response (and purchase) can be measured, and attributed to individual advertisements. As a professional marketing copywriter I have been trained in the art of persuasive copy, and know not only how to get the attention of the target buyer, but how to make them feel that your product or service is the most important element in their lives that they are desperately missing. I do extensive research on your prospective buyer until I know and understand them better than they know themselves. I’ll then implement this insight to write copy that slowly guides the prospect toward an immediate purchase of your product or service.
A Sales brochure is an informative paper document (often also used for advertising), that can be folded into a template, pamphlet or leaflet. Brochures are advertising pieces mainly used to introduce a company or organization and inform about products and/or services to a target audience.
Brochures are now available in electronic format and are called e-brochures or digital brochures. They are found on the web usually on a company’s website or as a part of an email marketing campaign or digital company newsletter.
As a generic term, an electronic book (variously: e-book, eBook, e-Book, ebook, digital book or e-edition) or a digital book is a book-publication in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, readable on computers or other electronic devices. Although sometimes defined as “an electronic version of a printed book”, many e-books exist without any printed equivalent. Commercially produced and sold e-books are usually intended to be read on dedicated e-readers. However, almost any sophisticated electronic device that features a controllable viewing screen, including computers, tablets and smartphones can also be used to read e-books.
E-book reading is increasing in the US; by 2014 28% of adults had read an e-book, compared to 23% in 2013. This is increasing because 50% of American adults by 2015 had a dedicated device, either an e-reader or a tablet, compared to 30% owning such a device by the end of 2014.
Email copywriting and Email marketing is writing and directly marketing a commercial message to a group of people using email. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. It usually involves using email to send ads, request business, or solicit sales or donations, and is meant to build loyalty, trust, or brand awareness. Email marketing can be done to either sold lists or a current customer database. Broadly, the term is usually used to refer to sending email messages with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or previous customers, to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business, acquiring new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately, and adding advertisements to email messages sent by other companies to their customers.
